Dr. Toshio Inui
Dr. Toshio Inui is the CEO of the Saisei Mirai Group. He graduated from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in 1978.
He acquired his Ph.D. in Engineering from Tokushima University in 1987. Following his graduation, he gained experience as a physician in the internal medicine department of a general hospital. At the age of 33, he founded Inui Immunotherapy Clinic in Osaka, specializing in the treatment of internal diseases.
The loss of his father to cancer created a pivot to focus on immunotherapy as an alternative approach to cancer treatment. As a result, he renamed his clinic to Inui Cancer Immunotherapy Clinic and dedicated himself to advancing immunotherapy research and cancer treatment. This is now benefiting patients across the world.
In 2009, Dr. Inui established Saisei Mirai Medical Corporation. The following year, in 2010, he opened Saisei Mirai Clinics in Osaka, Kobe, and Tokyo. In 2023, he expanded further by opening Saisei Clinics Overseas. In 2013, he was appointed Visiting Professor at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, followed by Ritsumeikan University in 2018 and Kagoshima University in 2020. Today, his group is engaged in collaborative efforts with universities and medical institutions both within Japan and internationally, pioneering research and development in immunotherapies such as cell and gene therapy.
